The charming, vibrant downtown areas of both Loveland and nearby Milford are just minutes away. Visiting family and friends will love the Little Miami Bike Trail which runs right through the heart of Loveland, and the nearby Loveland Castle, a 10th-century-style castle constructed of local river rock, is a must see. And with downtown Cincinnati less than 30 minutes away, there are always plenty of fun things to do!

Katie Huff
Executive Director
Katie joined the amazing family that is Magnolia Springs team in October 2019. Prior to joining the community, Katie has served at other communities around the Cincinnati area in the Executive Director role for the past 13 years. She began her journey into senior living in college at Ohio University while studying Health Care Administration and Long-Term Care.

Debby Farmer
Director of Community Relations
Debby is a Licensed Social Worker and has worked over 30 years in the senior living industry, beginning her career as an Activity Director and Social Worker in Skilled Nursing settings. From there, Debby transitioned to the sales and marketing side of health care working in Senior Living, Hospice, and Home Health services. She has been with Magnolia Springs Loveland since January of 2017.

Eric Leach
Director of Dining Services
Eric Leach is the Executive Chef and Director of dining services for Magnolia Springs, Loveland. He is from Middletown, OH and a 2005 Graduate of Madison High School. After high school he attended the Le Cordon Bleu at Pennsylvania Culinary Institute. During this time, he worked in upscale restaurants as well as catering. Eric then moved back to the Cincinnati area and

Bethany Huff, RN
Director of Health Services
Bethany has been a nurse since 1991. In her 30+ years as a nurse she has worked in many areas, including hospitals, hospice, home health, insurance case management and most recently assisted living communities. She previously worked at Magnolia Springs in Louisville, KY as the Director of Resident Services and was then the Director of Memory Way at Magnolia Springs in Loveland.

Amy York, LPN
Director of Memory Care
Amy has been in nursing , and specifically geriatric and memory care, for over 30 years. Having lived with grandparents growing up, older adults have always been close to her heart. She started as a nurse’s aide while still in high school and obtained her LPN license a few years later.

Darci Schirmer, ADC, CDP
Director of Life Enrichment
Darci joined the Magnolia Springs family in 2023 with nearly 30 years’ experience in life enrichment. A graduate of Berea College, she studied communications and video production and worked as a morning radio announcer. When she returned to her hometown of Owensville, she realized that radio stations were inundated with hopeful DJs, so she decided to apply for a job as an activities assistant.

Robert Huff
Director of Plant Operations
Rob joined Magnolia Springs Loveland in July, 2023. He has enjoyed a long career of over 25 years in residential maintenance and property management, but recently found his true calling working with senior communities.

Valaya West, CDP
Community Relations Counselor
Valaya is an experienced healthcare professional seasoned with over two decades of experience. Starting her career at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, she later transitioned to senior living. Growing up she spent her childhood learning and assisting the elders in her family. It wasn’t long before Valaya realized that being involved in the daily lives of our senior population was her calling.

Laura Bransford
Business Office Manager
Laura joined Magnolia Springs as the Business Office Manager in May 2023. She has 8 years of HR experience, and is very excited to add the financial side of things to her skill set. She has lived in Loveland for 25 years and remodeled a 115-year-old home in downtown Loveland about 5 years ago.
